A Very True Christmas
When it comes to Christmas in London, the average just won’t do. If you're looking for skating rinks and mulled wine stalls, look elsewhere. But if your December is more Champagne than chestnuts, more opera than overcrowded Oxford Street, welcome to a very True Christmas.
This is our edit of the capital’s most exclusive festive moments, where tradition meets taste, and every detail is worth dressing up for.

Claridge’s Christmas Tree, Designed by Burberry
No one does Christmas quite like Claridge’s, and this year, they’ve handed the reins (and ribbons) to Daniel Lee, Chief Creative Officer of Burberry.
Unveiled on Tuesday 25 November, the tree stands at 16ft, dressed in 600 bows made from surplus Burberry fabric, a Victorian symbol of unity, reimagined in signature beige. Think hanging bells, sculptural chess pieces, and a gold crown topper fit for a runway.
More than just decoration, it’s a nod to British heritage, sustainability, and seasonal style, all under the Art Deco glow of London’s most iconic hotel.
Private Shopping in the Harrods Penthouse
Tired of jostling elbows on the shop floor? Harrods invites you upstairs - quite literally - to its private penthouse suite.
This by-invitation-only experience is the definition of luxury retail: one-on-one styling, champagne in hand, and access to curated pieces you won’t find anywhere else in-store.
If you know, you know. And if you’re on True’s list, you’ll be right at home.
The Nutcracker at The Royal Opera House
Nothing says Christmas quite like a performance of The Nutcracker, and no venue does it better than The Royal Opera House.
Running throughout the season, the ROH is transformed into a festive escape: floating Christmas trees, seasonal dining, and the new Paul Smith festive installation, lighting up the Paul Hamlyn Hall.
Even if ballet isn’t your thing, the building itself is worth a visit, and we never say no to champagne before curtain call.
Afternoon Tea at The Ritz
A classic for a reason. Afternoon tea at The Ritz gets a festive makeover come December, with delicate pastries, seasonal sandwiches, and a harpist gently playing carols beneath chandeliers.
It’s grand, it’s old school, and yes, there’s a dress code. But if you’re going to do Christmas, do it in polished shoes and with clotted cream.
Coffee at Ralph’s
Tucked away in Ralph Lauren’s Bond Street flagship, Ralph’s Coffee is the cosy counterpoint to your shopping spree.
Come for the coffee, stay for the tweed-coated charm. During the festive season, it’s dressed to the nines, a quiet little jewel box for a caffeine pause between penthouse shopping and evening engagements.
True to the Season
Whether you're front row at The Royal Ballet or five floors up in Harrods, this season is all about making every moment matter.
At True, we curate experiences for those who value access, artistry, and the kind of festive sparkle that doesn’t come from a high street light switch-on.
From us to you - Merry Christmas, the True way.
