This summer, we’re raising the bar.

As True Entertainment returns to The Oval for another season of exceptional cricket hospitality, we’re proud to introduce our new culinary partner: Michelin-starred chef Adam Byatt.

Known for his modern British menus with a refined French influence, Adam is the chef-owner behind some of London’s most respected restaurants—Trinity, Bistro Union, and Upstairs. His approach blends seasonal precision with rich gastronomic heritage, making him a natural fit for the kind of intimate, elevated experiences True is known for.

Adam’s journey began at 16 with a placement at Claridge’s through the Savoy Education Trust, before going on to train under John Williams and Philip Howard at the two Michelin-starred Square. In 2001, he opened Thyme to critical acclaim, followed by the launch of Trinity in 2006, which has held a Michelin star since 2016 and multiple accolades including three AA Rosettes and Time Out’s Best New Restaurant.

Beyond the kitchen, Adam now serves as Chair of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts - a full-circle moment that reflects both his pedigree and passion for mentoring the next generation.

He joins True Entertainment as chef-in-residence for our 2026 and 2027 fixtures at The Oval, including the England v New Zealand Test Match (17–19 June 2026) and The Ashes (2027), where guests can expect unforgettable menus paired with signature True hospitality.

From the food to the cricket, we’re making every moment count.
